Developing creativity, technique and an appreciation of great artists.
Our art and design curriculum gives children the chance to draw, paint, print, sculpt and use digital media, developing their technique and their confidence as artists year on year.
Children study the work of artists, craft makers and designers, learn the vocabulary to describe and evaluate what they see, and record their ideas and experiments in sketchbooks that travel with them through school.
Artwork is displayed proudly around school and shared with families at exhibitions and celebrations.
