Religious Education

Religious Education is central to all teaching and learning at St Bernadette's. The headteacher leads RE, supports staff with planning and delivery, and teaches in every class each week.

Children are taught in mixed-age classes, so we follow our RE programme on a rolling cycle. Children also learn about other faiths and religions, and are taught to respect people of all faiths and none.

Assessment takes place each term, with evidence collected for diocesan assessment and analysed to plan the next term's improvement focus.
