Catholic Social Teaching

Catholic Social Teaching gives children a framework for understanding fairness, dignity and responsibility. We explore its principles in age-appropriate ways: the dignity of every person, the value of community and participation, care for creation, solidarity with people in need, and the dignity of work.

Children put this into practice through our charity work, through caring for our school grounds and environment, and through the responsibilities they take on as they move up the school.

Our chosen charities and appeals are shared in our newsletters, and children often lead the fundraising themselves.
