PE & Sport Premium

We recognise what PE and school sport can achieve for each pupil and for the whole school. Through sport, children build self-esteem, teamwork and leadership. By placing PE and sport at the heart of a broad and balanced curriculum, we aim to inspire our children to be active, raise their attainment and develop a lifelong healthy lifestyle.

We make this a reality by providing enough time and equipment for pupils to learn and achieve, supporting and developing teachers, offering opportunities to take part in competitive sport, listening to pupils, celebrating their achievements, and keeping parents and carers informed.

The PE and Sport Premium is government funding provided to primary schools to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE, sport and physical activity we offer. Our annual statement sets out how the funding has been spent and the difference it has made.
